About Me

When I got married in 2008, I knew what I was getting into. Afterall I was around 5 years into my association career and the members I served at that time became an extended family to me. Some even attended my wedding (none were invited to the honeymoon).

I'm a guy who is wired to be curious, caring and compassionate. I love my wife because like a fine membership organization, marriage has valuable benefits. We act as senior advisors on important life decisions, we coach each other, we work hard to understand each others needs and over the  years, we added added my daughter to our longterm strategy plan. Just to even things up, we then added our Little Lad to to the same plan.

It seems strange to compare my personal life to my professional life but in a way they intersect. I feel an attachment to those I serve. It's been my passion to identify each persons reasoning to be part of an association and then enhance that reasoning by offering a reason to stay. If you like to make big decisions then you should be on a committee. If you like to promote then you should be in marketing. If you like to learn then you should earn some valuable professional designations.

Marriage and associations go hand and hand. There is no annual fee to enter marriage but there is a sense of belonging, which makes me want to renew every year.

AIM (Association Industry Matters)  is my brainchild. Its my way of making sure that each association has the tools at their disposable in order to help find each members sense of belonging. I am eager to help you discover new ways to make your association the finest in the industry.
